Pan Am stewardess

It was fun to make this stewardess outfit for my 9 year old 2nd grade client. It was the only costume she wanted for Halloween. and Grandma graciously footed the bill

I originally thought I would make only one garment but as it went along I realized it would work better as two pieces. The hat was a challenge. Fortunately I had a Vintage Vogue hat pattern that was close to the right shape.

Her mom found her the gloves, bag and pumps.
