A Regency couple

I made these costumes for members of the Jane Austen Society of America to be worn at the Gala at that year's Annual General Meeting.

The dress was made from a sari.

The gentleman's coat and breeches are wool. Of note is the polychrome embroidered silk satin waistcoat.
