Lord Bindon
This is the most recent of the Lord Bindon costumes that I made for my ex-husband, John Hertz. For a number of years he has worked at the Renaissance Pleasure Faire as an actor in Queen Elizabeth's court. His character, Lord Bindon was a real person in history.
As usual, the suit's main fabric was midnight blue velvet. I used some commercially made trims, but this time I made the ruched trim with piping and the same silk that was used under the panes on the trunk hose. The beading pattern was composed to fit the Renaissance style.
